qualitative evaluation of iranian children and young adults' websites using "web-qem" model

چکیده
purpose: the qualitative evaluation of iranian children and young adults' websites. methodology/approach: it is a survey study using a checklist based on iso 9126-1 and web-qem model. data gathered from 33 websites. results: iranian children and young adults' websites are not in a desirable status considering usability (average=0.39) and functionality (average=0.44). also, they are still far from the high desirable situation based on reliability (average=0.63) and efficiency (average=0.73). conclusion: iranian children and young adults' websites are below the medium level regarding web-qem qualitative measures and are required to be redesigned.
